Our 2024 Guatemala mission was a record-breaker!

It was the largest team ever - 82 in total - and they hit a record! In just five days, and under the intrepid leadership of Dr. Steve McDonald and Kristie Vasarhelyi, the team operated on 72 patients and provided 89 joint replacements, putting infinite smiles on faces of people who otherwise would have no care.  

Our pediatric dental team had great success too! They treated 67 patients in clinic and 16 in the operating room, performing 215 tooth extractions and a variety of other treatments.

And let’s not forget our pedorthists who saw 35 patients and made approximately 50 shoe lifts and 10 sets of orthotics.

Extraordinary outcomes like these are only made possible when team members come together with open minds and caring hearts - and we did just that!
