URGENT NEED FOR A SPECIFIC VOLUNTEER

Our dental team is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (with PACU experience) who speaks both English and Spanish and is able to join us on our Guatemala mission from October 25 to November 1, 2024. Your role will be to: 1) monitor pediatric dental patients following oral rehabilitation under general anesthesia; 2) work with the anesthesiologist to manage any medical issues; and 3) provide translation to the local Spanish-speaking PACU staff.

With the exception of specific roles like the one described above, Operation Walk Canada is fortunate to have a dedicated team of volunteers who return year-after-year to participate in our missions. As a result, we generally have very limited availability to serve as a mission volunteer.
