2023 Guatemala mission cancelled

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our Guatemala mission which was scheduled to depart on October 27, 2023. Aside from during the pandemic, this is the first time our annual mission has not taken place; however, due to political unrest in the area, proceeding would put our volunteers at risk. While our hearts go out to our patients in Guatemala, the safety of our team is always our highest priority.

We would like to sincerely thank our dedicated donors, suppliers and partners who generously supported this mission. And to our incredible volunteers who had committed personal resources to be part of this trip, thank you!   

Despite this setback, we continue to remain focussed on our work to provide life-changing surgery to people in Guatemala and Ecuador who have no access to care. We will be back in 2024!
