Meet SoleScience
Since 2012, SoleScience has been proud to be part of the Operation Walk missions to both Ecuador and Guatemala.
As foot and lower limb specialists, we bring specialized materials and equipment that enables us to perform footwear modifications (such as shoe lifts) for individuals having surgery, as well as for others who come to see us from the surrounding community.
We perform lower limb assessments to see which biomechanical factors are contributing to their pain and discomfort. If a leg length discrepancy is noted (either congenital or acquired), we perform on-site footwear modifications to accommodate for the difference in their legs. Doing this allows for patients to return to their activities of daily living and can have a tremendous impact on their day-to-day lives.
Since being involved, SoleScience has been happy to help over 500 patients.
