All team members are volunteers and all knee and hip replacement implants are donated surgical implants. However, the majority of the remaining equipment including medicines; the transportation of all this equipment, and team member travel and accommodations must be paid for. When all is said and done, approximately $150,000 is needed to finance each mission and it is solely the generosity of donors that makes these possible.
Operation Walk Canada is registered not-for-profit charity and all donations are receitable income tax purposes. 100% of all funds raised go to each mission.
