Many of our patients have developmental dysphasia of their hips or DDH, which means one or two of their hips are dislocated from the socket. This occurs when they are babies.
Jenny, had this condition with both of her hips. Last year we were able to fix the right one. This year we are back to fix the left hip. The X-rays show last years and this years operation.
Today, Jenny is to get up and walk on her new hip for the first time. But last year she had a lot of pain after surgery and she was so afraid to walk today.
But, her fears were for naught! She’ll go home tomorrow. We are thrilled for her.
