The condition of DDH is preventable if diagnosed when the patient is a baby. The correction is as simple as triple diapering for a number of months. This keeps the hip in the socket and in the proper alignment. We are always educating the community of doctors, midwives and families. Today, a mother came to have her baby checked to make sure she is ok. The baby has been x-rayed and followed by a local doctor.
After an examination, Dr Bob has advised the mother to continue to triple diaper and report back again next year. But the outcome looks good for a future without any probability for surgery.
