Operation Walk Canada’s team consists of up to 55 volunteers primarily from London; Ottawa; Vancouver; Lima, Ohio; and Prescott, Arizona. We have also had volunteers from Toronto, Omaha Nebraska and even Spain and the United Kingdom. The roles filled by volunteers include: orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthesiologists, internists, physiotherapists, RNs expertise in orthopaedic operating room procedures, RNs who specialize in orthopaedic post operative nursing, supply processing/sterilization technicians and general volunteers.

A core group, orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Cecil Rorabeck, Director of Operation Walk Canada, Caroline Grenier, RN, Operating Room Coordinator and Anna Hales, Team Coordinator is responsible for patient selection, surgical procedures and the coordination of the entire team including logistics.
